Graal – Sigullum Naturae

Sigullum Naturae  is an album by Graal that was released on Moon Records in 1998. This album is progressive psychedelic black / death metal.

This album is really amazing and is an extremely unique black metal album. The album has an immense amount of technical skill. Guitars that are a mix of black metal, death metal, and psychedelic rock. Awesome and heavy use of bass guitar that sounds awesome and really helps push the unique sound. And dope drums that switch between very non-metal rhythms to jazz to metal. The composition of the tracks is really awesome. They’re progressive and the music really doesn’t sound that much like metal at times. The medlodies go allover the place, death metal, black metal, psyche rock, experimental, and really fun happy sounding stuff. The vocals are mostly lazy sounding and range in a few different styles black metal vocals and clean slow singing, and sound really dope. This album is really awesome and is really an experience.

As much as I hate pirating, the label KITSCH MAGIK has illegally re-released it as part of their “Copyright Infringement/ Bootleg” series, so you can listen to it and download for free there

Shizuka – 天界のペルソナ

天界のペルソナis an album by Shizuka released in 1994 on P.S.F. Records. The genre for this is psychedelic rock.

The album starts off fast and chaotic but don’t let that mislead you, the album is on the slow side. Very slow guitar accompanied by also slow very gothic female vocals. The whole album has a gothic feel/vibe/aesthetic to it. The percussion is almost always on the minimal side, just adding another layer to the atmosphere of the album. Melodies sound like they’re caught between somewhat happy to sad; bittersweet maybe. Also, since this is psychedelic rock there are some guitar solos, I’m not a huge fan of guitar solos but they do it well and sound enjoyable.

Christine 23 Onna – Acid Eater

12313670_797073377068676_2938793442022127949_nAcid Eater is an album by Christine 23 Onna released on the label Midi Creative in 2002. Christine 23 Onna is Maso Yamazaki’s (better known as Masonna) psychedelic rock band. For those who don’t know, Masonna is a harsh noise musician.

This is an awesome album of 60s inspired psychedelic rock that contains elements of experimental and noise. The album consists of repetitive guitar and bass, electronic synthesizers, and sometimes accompanied by spastic drumming and heavy use of effects.

I love this album and had the luck to find it in store, was $25 but I got it anyways~
Collectors gotta collect~

If by the off chance you completely luck out and find this gem on the low, GET IT.
