嘆キ使徒 ‎- ツ···ラ··ラ

sss
ツ···ラ··ラ is an EP by 嘆キ使徒 ‎that was self-released in 1997. This EP is visual kei. Its also only two songs, and only one is on YouTube.

私ノ静ム, the track that is on YouTube is really awesome. It has really heavy Japanese goth vibes and sound to it, especially with the vocals. Deep and sometimes drawn out. The instrument part of it fast and somewhat aggressive, lots of fast snares. Accompanied by lots of bass and some guitar accents. This is an awesome track.

Gorugoth ‎- Ankoku Shinwa (Myth Of Darkness)

Ankoku Shinwa (Myth Of Darkness) is an album by Gorugoth ‎that was released on the label Cosmic Garden Productions in 1999. This album is black metal and is a compilation of previously released tracks.

This is an awesome album. The tracks have dope riffs which sound really menacing. The album is raw (which I love) leading to an often messy sound which is awesome. The drums and guitars sometimes get all muddied up (this is a good thing). His vocals are awesome, they switch between high pitch shrieks to low and evil sounding vocals. The album has an aggressive and angry sound and atmosphere to it, there was probably a good amount of anger put into these recordings considering the really unfriendly vibes. I know that like an insane amount of black metal is unfriendly, but this album really delivers that.

Norken – Soul Static Bureau

Soul Static Bureau is an album by Norken that was first released in 1999 on the label Beau Monde, then later re-released in 2001 on the label Hydrogen Dukebox. This album is IDM and deep house.

This is a really amazing album and one of the best house albums ever made. This album has such a great vibe, crisp and clean, robotic yet emotional. The album is full of dope (and very well mixed) sub-bass that really helps deliver the awesome rhythms that are present. There is also some dope IDM and tech-housey shuffling percussion too that helps build up and complicate the rhythm. Its done in such a way that’s its both simple and minimal, but has a complexity to it too. There’s of course obvious heavy house influences in the percussion too. Melodies have lots of slow synths, tons of little blips and bleeps, and some more synths. In a few tracks there’s some cut up acoustic instruments too, which despite the very electronic sound in the rest of the album, this tracks still very much work. The melodies on this are awesome, ranging from very robot sounding stuff, to happier stuff, to more serious stuff. The track “Motor Breeze” is really amazing. Also, I LOVE the album cover, its very aesthetically pleasing but also really goes with the music. Sadly though, the 1999 version has a boring ugly cover.

The Black Tower is an album by Warloghe that was self-released in 1996. This album is black metal.

This is a really nice album. The guitars are really nice in this, high-pitched and awesome melodies. There’s some bass too that shines really nice through the higher frequency guitars. I really like the melodies in this album. The vocal style in this album is interesting, no shrieks and stuff like that. But instead slow weird vocals that sound very strained.

Depressive Silence – Depressive Silence

Depressive Silence is an album by Depressive Silence that was released on Nocturnal Silence Distribution in 1996. This album is dungeon synth.

This is a really awesome album~! The tracks are very well thought out with great composition and melodies. The melodies are dark and adventurous, like traveling through a snowy mountain on your way to battle, with the thoughts of dead loved ones in your mind and revenge giving you your strength. This album is very orchestral and has a heavy focus of string instruments, but also some organ and so on. This album has a really nice atmosphere and the layers of the instruments and the reverb give it a nice depth to it.

Corpus Golgotha – Ilusiones

CS1355153-02A-BIG
Ilusiones is an album by Corpus Golgotha that was released on the label Delirium Records in 1996. This album is black metal and doom metal.

This is a pretty dope album, they do a good job mixing doom metal and black metal. Sometimes its slow, sometimes its fast, sometimes it switches between the genres (or see-saws between them), and sometimes it blends the genres together; they definitely mix it up and keep the album exciting. The structure and stuff changes around too. The album has a nice level of rawness to it, gritty but you can easily tell and define everything. The melodies and vocals are dope too. This is an awesome album, Rosa Mística and Ilusiones are my fave tracks on the album~

Station 28 is an EP by Artificial Intelligence that was released in 1994 on 6 Up Records. This EP is goa trance and hard trance.

This kicks off with the really upbeat hard as heck title track “Station 28”. This track is really awesome. Sci-fi sounding goa trance melodies and really upbeat welly drone trance percussion. This track really makes you want to move, its so damn awesome. The overall sci-fi vibes carry on throughout the EP. The other two tracks aren’t as upbeat as the opener, but are still really good and definitely danceable. The whole EP has a somewhat dark atmosphere to it too, which makes it even cooler.
