Stimmen der Vögel Mitteleuropas – I. Waldvögel is an album by Günter Tembrock and Michael Schubert that was originally released in 1967 on the label ETERNA. This album is field recordings.

As the album cover would suggest, the subject of the field recordings in this album is birds. This has a lot of great recordings with a good variety of calls. Some of the birds sound relaxing, and some sound rather intimidating and aggressive. This album was actually made by zoologists so each track is recordings of a specific species, with the species name listed in the title. Between each track Michael talks a bit but I have no clue what he’s saying because its all in German.
