Scat Bubble – Copro Humiliation

First off, sorry if you were eating while viewing this; second off, so much for ever showing anyone this blog; third off, if you jack off there’s no need to say so in the comments. If I were to censor it, it would just be a big blur or black square so I decided not to.

Anyways, Copro Humiliation is an EP by Scat Bubble released on an unknown label on an unknown year. I found this when trying to find stuff from a different artist/band then came across this on a sketchy looking site that I couldn’t even read. The genre he makes is groovy corprogrind (rarely called scatgrind). Out of all the grindcore genres, corprogrind is my least listened to since it tends to be much weaker than its sisters and can just be downright stupid and well, shitty. Groovy just means its more melodic and rhythmic (more rock like) than non-groovy grindcore, this usually results in a much slower sound. But, Scat Bubble actually pulls this off very well and makes enjoyable music.

The vocals on this are really good and sound like a mix between a sink being unclogged and when you’re almost out of soda and you’re using a straw; very goregrind-esque. The guitars are rather melodic compared to other grindcore bands, there’s no heavy distortion so you can hear them very well and they’re not at a crazy tempo. The drums vary between blast beats and other kinds of metal drumming.

This is a nice EP and you can download it for free here (note: the files says “Scat Bubbles” but the band name is “Scat Bubble”. It was like this when I downloaded it originally and forgot to fix it.):
