パノラマカメラ (Panorama Camera) is an EP by 楽しい音楽 (Tanoshii Ongaku) released at an unknown date on an unknown label. This was released most likely in the 80s, but very little information on this album is available. 楽しい音楽 is mostly known for their odd experimental synth-pop EP, やっぱり, from 1983. That EP is awesome (check it out!) but I like this release a ton too. Three tracks are online, based on the other tracks I think one might be missing.
A2 sounds very much like the non-jazz tracks on Nobukazu Takemura’s Songbook but with more “normal” composition techniques. The track has a girl singing along simplistic child-like music. It sounds happy and playful and I love this sound. Some minimalistic percussion comes in which helps add to the happy vibe of it. Track A3 is my favorite track on the EP and my favorite track they’ve made. This one is really amazing, it sounds like Animal Crossing or a slice of life anime OST with bunch of plunging water and pouring water sounds. It sounds like more “child-like” things were used, the melody fully consists of recorders. It sounds really happy and playful, the water sounds are extremely clear and this track is just really amazing. The final track A4 keeps the happy, child-like, sound and has little “la la” vocals too. It sounds like some miscellaneous metal sounds were used for the percussion. This track is also good.
