esc REALITY – WELCOME 2 HOTEL TAIWAN™

WELCOME 2 HOTEL TAIWAN™ by esc REALITY is a 2014 album released on both Garbage Men Puking and GHOSTNET™ Ltd. . This album is vaporwave.

This album is really good. Most of the tracks fall into two categories, saxophone driven stuff and less-in-your-face stuff. The latter being kinda hard to describe but it’s calm but not all the way into ambient, has a very vaporwave sound. The album opens with the track, ” “INTRO 2 HOTEL TAIWAN™” . . . W E L C O M E “, which is really good. Sounds like church music (not exactly gospel but the stuff they might play during prayer or in between songs) with a saxophone over it. It has a very relaxing sound to it but also somehow feels like it’s building despite being the same loop, it makes a great opener.

The fourth track ” “DOLPHiN BEACH ! ! ! ” . . . ウェーブレースと郷愁 ” is by far my favorite on the release, and one of my favorite vaporwave tracks overall. This one is similar to the other track I mentioned but much more carries the church music sound, this time full on gospel. It then has a saxophone over it just to make it more awesome. At the ending portion of the song it starts to dissolve, deconstruct, and fall apart, in a good way~! Portions of the track start getting overlapped and some parts are more slowed down then others. The other tracks on this really good too~!

When checking it out some recommended tracks are
